Simone Louie Receives James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship

Simone Louie of Tseuny, Hong Kong 00000 is among eight SUNY Geneseo freshmen who received a 2014-2015 James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship. The scholarship program was created by the best-selling author to support aspiring teachers in promoting the importance of literacy in education.

Patterson Scholarship recipients were selected on the basis of academic performance and a desire to help children develop a lifelong passion for reading. All eight recipients have the option of renewing the $6,000 award through graduation.
