SUNY Geneseo Student Melanie Doroski Volunteers at 'Give Kids The World' Program

Melanie Doroski, a Senior at the State University of New York at Geneseo from Southold, NY (11971), recently took an "alternative" spring break trip by volunteering at Give Kids The World, a central Florida resort where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free fantasy vacations.

The experience is among numerous volunteer service opportunities SUNY Geneseo offers to develop socially responsible citizens with skills and values for a productive life.
