Rachel Colomban Receives JFEW-SUNY International Relations and Global Affairs Program Scholarship

Rachel Colomban, a English major from Oakdale, NY (11769) recently received a two-year scholarship to prepare her for a career in international relations and global affairs and to hone her leadership skills through mentoring and networking opportunities.

The Jewish Foundation for Education of Women -- SUNY International Relations and Global Affairs Program awarded the scholarship to Colomban. In addition to scholarship support, the program includes a monthly seminar series for two academic years, paid internships in New York-based global organizations during the summer between her junior and senior years. It also facilitates networking, professional development and mentoring opportunities.

The scholarship program, which began in 2011, is coordinated by the SUNY Levin Institute in partnership with Geneseo and three other SUNY campuses.
